RGI’s Annual Report 2025 Edition

Published after a historical summer, where climate change has impacted various communities across Europe, RGI’s annual report for 2025 showcases that the transition to a renewables-based energy system is more urgent than ever. Although attempts to deny, delay and derail climate action are increasing, we have all we need to push decarbonisation forward. Direct electrification, powered by renewables and integrated by electricity grids, are the key ingredients to mitigate the impacts of the climate and biodiversity crises. Additionally, flexibility, nature protection and stakeholder engagement that deliver local benefits are essential complementary factors.
