Summarising Europe’s climate risks affecting electricity grids and other infrastructure, the Dataset categorises direct and indirect hazards, defining them and outlining likely impacts on substations, pylons, cables and monitoring systems. It also notes probability trends to 2050, geographic exposure, typical duration, and practical before-during-after resilience measures, with indicative cost examples and practices being implemented across Europe.
