On 28 January, at the Smart Permitting International Forum’s webinar, we explored how AWS, Accenture & WindEurope are transforming permitting processes with their innovative tool EasyPermit.
Introduction
Permitting delays remain some of the toughest challenges in delivering grid infrastructure. To address this challenge, we have partnered with Continuum Industries to collaborate on the launch of the Smart Permitting International Forum this January.
As a new global initiative, the Forum brings together practitioners, project developers, government bodies, NGOs, tech innovators, and researchers to share case studies and insights that tackle permitting as one of the critical bottlenecks in delivering infrastructure for economic growth, net zero, resilience, and nature recovery.
In the inaugural session on 28 January from 17:00 – 18:00 (CET), we explored how WindEurope Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Accenture are accelerating and optimising infrastructure permitting and consenting processes. We’ll also dive into the case study of their cutting-edge tool, EasyPermits, which is driving efficiency in European renewable energy projects.
