RGI joins EU Commission's Equality Platform for the Energy Sector

RGI is happy to announce that we have joined the EU Commission's Equality Platform for the Energy Sector in order to jointly promote equality and inclusion, from energy professionals and decision-makers to consumers.

Launched in August 2021 by the European Union, the ‘Equality platform for the energy sector’ offers a space for discussion of issues relating to equality, facilitating exchanges of experiences and highlighting best practices in the energy sector.

By becoming a Member of the Equality Platform for the Energy Sector, we want to confirm our commitment to the principles of the platform and gain the necessary scrutiny on the equality policies that RGI has already put in place.

The RGI Secretariat is a small but very international team and its working relations are based on the principals of trust and mutual respect. Inclusion in all its senses - including gender, sex, race, religion, disability, age and sexual orientation - is a principle that we strive to achieve and maintain.

Being part of the Equality Platform network will enable RGI to improve its current practices and foster an equal and trusting work environment. We view this platform as an opportunity to gain insight into the experiences of other organisations and to share our own, as well to learn from the successful policies set in place by others.
