RGI Board elects new members Jörg Spicker (Swissgrid) and Paul-Georg Garmer (TenneT)

At this week’s RGI Members’ Assembly a new RGI Board was elected. In line with RGI rules and traditions the Board again consists of three NGO and three TSO representatives. Newly elected Board members are Jörg Spicker, Head of Market Operations at Swissgrid, and Paul-Georg Garmer, Senior Public Affairs Manager at TenneT.

All previous Board members, who ran for another term, have been confirmed in their roles. They are WWF’s Stephan Singer, Germanwatch’s Christoph Bals, 50Hertz’ Olivier Feix and RSPB’s Ivan Scrase.

The new Board will meet for the first time on December 19th in Berlin, where they will kick-off their tenure and amongst other things decide on who takes up the different Board responsibilities, including chairmanship, policy formulation, communication, strategy formulation and treasury.
