One day course for employees/volunteers of non-profits interested in gaining an overview of technical aspects of the decarbonisation of the power sector.

This event is for employees and volunteers of non-profit organisations who wish to gain insights into how the power system is organised and operates, how renewables change the game (from a technical perspective) and the key environmental planning considerations of existing and new high voltage transmission projects.

The format of the day will be a mix of lectures and interactive sessions led by experts from industry, research institutes, RGI and other non-profit organisations. The training will empower civil society actors to engage with the technical aspects of the energy transition at the local and policy levels. It will be followed by a series of webinars that take a closer look at selected related topics.
