For the EIA, Statnett conducted numerous field trips.
In workshops with representatives from Statnett and a consultancy which is preparing the EIA, different aspects are discussed, such as landscape or tourism, to make sure that every relevant aspect is considered in the studies.
Part of the application documentation is an environmental transport plan. It is monitored by the regulator in the later stages and forms part of the contract Statnett signs with construction companies. The plan is again discussed with municipalities and presented in information meetings to the public.
