In the light of the ongoing climate crisis, Europe needs to speed up its efforts to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. We can contribute to this target by building a 100 % renewable energy supply. Our energy infrastructure has to be prepared for such a fundamental transformation. The Renewables Grid Initiative is the perfect platform to ensure fruitful cooperation in this regard.
