Submit your practice for the 2026 RGI Grid Awards: Good Practice of the Year! Take an active role in shaping a decarbonised future by showcasing excellence in grid deployment and renewables integration. Submissions are open until 5 July 2026.
We are delighted to announce the launch of the 13th edition of the ‘RGI Grid Awards’! For more than a decade, the RGI Grid Awards have recognised exceptional practices that support grid deployment and the integration of renewable energy. The awards celebrate outstanding achievements across three categories: Technological Innovation & System Integration, Communication & Engagement, and Environmental Protection.
This year, we once again invite organisations to share innovative practices that contribute to a resilient, sustainable and socially inclusive energy transition. We particularly welcome submissions that address emerging challenges and opportunities in electricity grid development, while demonstrating measurable impact and strong stakeholder collaboration.
Grid operators, project developers, NGOs and public authorities involved in grid projects, both in Europe and beyond, are encouraged to submit their entries and highlight their most original and successful practices. An independent panel of experts will evaluate all submissions based on innovation, impact and outcomes, scope and transferability, as well as collaborative approaches.
The winning practices will be featured in the annual award brochure and showcased across RGI’s communication channels, offering participants valuable international visibility and recognition.
Participation in the ‘Good Practice of the Year’ competition is free of charge and open to all eligible organisations. Submissions can be made through the online application form available on the RGI website until 5 July 2026.
By sharing their practices, participants contribute to advancingh collective knowledge and inspiring innovative approaches to renewable energy integration and grid development. The 2026 winners of the RGI Grid Awards will be announced and honoured at the RGI Grid Awards ceremony in Brussels in the beginning of December.
